Easter Sunday

First, I hope that everyone had a great Easter Sunday. Yesterday, we hunted for Easter eggs at our church. Needless to say, Bentley had a blast. Kenny, my husband and I had to guard eggs for her until she realized what she was supposed to be doing. She was pretty cute!

Today, even though it was Easter, I had to head up to my classroom for a little bit. With testing in less than eight school days, I had to prepare my room. For those of you who may be teachers, you probably know what I mean. The pre-test dismantle of your room. Anything that can help them has to go. I was feeling a little lazy, so instead of covering my charts and posters with paper, I just took it down. In my opinion, it is just faster.

We all get a little crazy around this time. If you are feeling the same way, don't worry. You, definitely, are not alone. Testing is always stressful. Even though, I know that my students and I have worked hard all year, I still get nervous. To all of the other teachers who may be reading, I hope that you will remember how amazing you all are. Look at it this way, you are spending your free time reading blogs about teaching! You're a ROCKSTAR!
