Here Today and Gone Tomorrow (Probably More Like Tonight)
I have been really busy...relaxing. I have been loving this summer. I have been on vacation, spending time with Bentley, and resting.
Today, I experimented with a recipe that I have wanted to try for a long time. I am no cook. My wonderful husband is the cook (more like chef) in our family. He comes by it honest; his mother teaches cooking for a living. I have about seven dishes that I can make and feel good about; whereas, my husband prepares delicious things like Beef Wellington. I can't compete with that, so I just enjoy. It isn't a love of mine, so I don't invest a lot of time practicing. However, I love to bake!
I made eclairs today from scratch. I used a recipe from http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Eclairs-II/ . I even made the whip cream to fold into the filling. They turned out great, especially, for my first time. If you have time, try making them. They were time consuming, but I bet next time the recipe would go much faster. Try and enjoy!
