Movie Monday

Today was a great day. We had a training about technology integration, and man, I have so much to learn. I was so excited to learn about so many new things about a 1:1 movement. This is such a powerful movement that changes the way we teach and the way that our students learn.

I love trainings for a couple of reasons: one is gaining knowledge and the other is communication with colleagues  (let's be honest - gabbing). While we were giggling and talking, I remembered a great movie to add to Movie Monday.

Stuck on You

 

This is a hilarious movie. It is made by the same people who made There's Something About Mary. It is crude humor at times, but there are too many funny things in this movie. The movie is about a set of conjoined twins who own a burger joint in Martha's Vineyard. One of the brothers dreams of becoming an actor, so you can only imagine what kind of funny things can happen. Rent it, get it on Netflix, or DVR it, you won't regret it.

Turbo

Next, is Turbo. This is a great kids movie that you as a parent will enjoy too. This was Bentley's first real trip to the movie theater. She loved it. It was a cute movie about believing in yourself and never giving up. There are a ton of major celebrities doing the voices. My daughter will be two soon, so my husband and I have come up with the game of identifying the name of the actors who play the characters in the cartoons we watch these days.
